Due to the removable transparency unit the scanner is able to digitise slides and negatives in known high quality. Besides the high speed the OpticSlim 2420T attracts attention with its small size and low weight. With its Contact Image Sensor (CIS) which works without sensitive tilted mirrors and lenses it is only 3,3cm high and weighs only 1,4kg. Because the CIS needs less energy the OpticSlim 2420T is supplied with power via the USB cable.
